Our annual conference is fast approaching and there are some exciting student events this year! 

Here’s a rundown of what not to miss if you’re a student or young professional attending the IADMS 31st Annual Conference this year.

From Research into Real-Life: How to Communicate Research Findings to the Dance Community

What? The goal of this presentation is for attendees to not only learn to identify strategies for reaching their target audience, but also how to break down research in ways that are comprehensible to those without a scientific knowledge base. This session is directed towards undergraduate, masters, and PhD student attendees who are interested in learning about how to make their research impactful for the population they studied. This session includes a post presentation Q&A.

Post Conference IADMS Student Events

The student committee would like our events to be accessible and open to as many students as possible, due to this, we are hosting two events after the conference in November.

Student to Student Networking Event

What? This session is hosted by the IADMS Student Committee and is an opportunity for students and young professionals to have in-depth discussions on topics relevant to student attendees.

What? This session is hosted by the IADMS Student Committee and is an opportunity for students and young professionals to connect and discuss topics with Dance Medicine and Science Professionals.
