BIG MESSY CONVERSATIONS PART II: WHAT DO STUDENTS WANT?
August 8, 12:00-1:30 pm EDT
In our ongoing series exploring Dance Science Education, the IADMS Dance Educators’ Committee and Student Committee invite you to our second Big Messy Conversation: What do students want?
As dance science becomes more mainstream in dance education, student concerns are changing and developing. What do today’s students want from their dance science curriculum? This long table conversation will explore student concerns related to dance science and how current curricula is, or is not, meeting their needs.
A virtual Longtable Discussion allows guests to move in and out of a limited number of seats at the table, engage in lively conversation, and share experiences and concerns.
Current students will sit alongside educators and researchers to exchange ideas and explore the needs of today’s students.
This event is free and open to IADMS members and non-members. Registration is required.
