REGISTER NOW! BRIDGING IADMS - FREE WEBINAR FOR DANCE FOR HEALTH TEACHING ARTISTS & FACILITATORS

Register Now for the 2nd in this 5-part webinar series on Attention in Focus

June 18 at 11:00am EDT

Register Now and join David Leventhal BA, Program Director, Dance for PD®, Mark Morris Dance Group, and host Clare Guss-West MA, IADMS Chair of the Dance for Health Committee, for this open-access webinar where they will share a plethora of clear, engaging, dance-based examples of facilitating movement with an external focus of attention for diverse learning groups. The workshop aims to inspire teaching artists working with those managing physical, attentional or mental health challenges, with the older adult population, and with those with neurodegenerative conditions. Clare and David will introduce attentional focus theory, bringing it to life through interactive, fun, artistic-focused examples. A breakout session in small working groups provides the possibility to experiment and consolidate skills collaboratively with peers.

This is the second of five webinars in this FREE webinar series, Bridging IADMS: An Interdisciplinary Webinar Series. Each month, host Clare Guss-West, MA, together with guest presenters and specialists from varied disciplines, will lead attendees in a practical, interactive session that explores how to implement this research directly into practice. Learn more about this webinar and the rest of the series here. Registration is required.
