A SoCal native, Diego earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2021. Before becoming a physical therapist, Diego had an extensive career as a professional dancer, choreographer, and college professor. Integrating his studies in biomechanics and functional movement with his background in dance, classical Pilates, and Iyengar Yoga, Diego emphasizes a whole-body approach to healing and learning how to move with greater ease and body awareness, no matter your pursuits or background. Diego is well versed in the needs of dancers and is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) and committed to staying up to date with current thoughts in dance medicine and helping student and professional dancers dance longer and more confidently.
