Recognizing Excellence in Dance Medicine and Science: IADMS Fellowship (FIADMS)
The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) is dedicated to advancing the field of dance medicine and science—and to recognizing the exceptional contributions of our members along the way.
Through the IADMS Recognized Members Program, members have the opportunity to receive professional recognition for their achievements. One of the most distinguished honors within this program is the IADMS Fellowship (FIADMS).
What is FIADMS?
The FIADMS designation is awarded to esteemed professionals—both academics and clinicians—who demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills, and service to IADMS and to the wider dance medicine and science community.
Receiving this recognition highlights not only a member’s outstanding contributions to the field, but also their commitment to continued leadership. Fellows are expected to serve IADMS in ambassadorial roles, helping to strengthen and expand the impact of the organization worldwide.
Application Process
To be considered for FIADMS, members must complete an application detailing how they meet the qualifying criteria and provide two letters of recommendation.
