NOW SEEKING AN EDITORIAL BOARD FOR THE IADMS BULLETIN FOR DANCERS & TEACHERS
The International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS) Board of Directors is seeking to appoint an editorial board to lead a relaunch of the IADMS Bulletin for Dancers and Teachers consisting of four members including editor(s)-in-chief, associate editor(s), and an early career assistant editor. This twice-yearly publication aims to share evidence-based practices in dance education, training, and performance through the practical application and use of dance medicine and science theory and research. Articles included within the bulletin are adapted from existing peer-reviewed publications, with research findings translated by their original authors into applicable recommendations for dancers and dance educators.
Editorial board members will work collaboratively to oversee all editorial aspects of the Bulletin, from content planning and contributor engagement to final publication. The positions require editorial expertise and a deep commitment to advancing the integration of science and education in dance. The IADMS board seeks to appoint an editorial board with broad and complementary skills, experiences, and knowledge, and will consider the composition of the editorial board as a whole, rather than based on any one individual.
To Apply: Complete the online application form by June 8, 2025, at 11:59 pm GMT (7:59 pm EDT). An editorial board will be approved and appointed by the IADMS Board of Directors, from applications received. The initial term will begin on September 1, 2025.
