Job Title: Interim Program Coordinator/Manager
Location: Remote
Job Type: Temporary (January–June; minimum one month, maximum six months)
Compensation: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week; Monday to Friday, with limited weekend work

performance for dancers. IADMS offers educational programs and research-driven
resources to advance the field.
Position Overview
The Interim Program Coordinator/Manager will support IADMS during a maternity
leave period. This role involves managing meetings and events, including the IADMS
35th Annual Conference. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational
programming and conference planning, strong communication and time management
skills, and a passion for performing arts and/or healthcare. Training will begin in
December for a seamless transition into the role in January.
Key Responsibilities
Annual Conference Planning and Management
Oversee the overall annual conference timeline for volunteers, presenters, and
staff.
Coordinate and oversee activities with and produced in coordination with the
Meetings & Events Committee.
Manage the abstract submission and review process, ensuring deadlines are
met.
Maintain and update the conference website, including public and speaker-
centered sites.
Identify and secure sponsors, manage sponsorship benefits and documentation,
and track funding.
Serve as the primary liaison for the conference venue, speakers, external
vendors, and sponsors.
Copyedit abstracts, guidelines, and event materials as needed.
Support ACCME and BOC accreditation requirements, ensuring compliance and
assisting attendees and presenters.
Monitor and maintain accurate registration and budgeting records.
Provide weekly progress reports to the Executive Director.
Educational Programs and Events Support
Assist in the development and setup of online Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) courses and enduring materials.
Maintain the website content for CPD courses and educational materials.
Support marketing initiatives for new and existing educational resources and
events.
Provide budgetary support for programs and events.
Qualifications
Experience in program coordination and event planning is strongly preferred.
Nonprofit organization experience is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Passion for performing arts and/or health and wellness.
Skills
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with online conference platforms (e.g., Cvent).
Experience with project fundraising and sponsorship management.
Strong interpersonal skills for fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
