At our 32nd Annual Conference held in October 2022 in Limerick, Ireland, we were delighted to welcome two new honorary members and two featured dancers; all four of whom are world leaders in Irish Dance. Read more about each of them in this blog post.

The Dance Educators Award recipient is announced each year as part of the annual conference. Gathering in person for the first time in 3 years in Limerick, Ireland, the Dance Educators’ Committee were pleased to announce the recipient of the 2022 award, Sonia Rafferty.

Student research abstracts for the IADMS 32nd Annual Conference were blind reviewed by the Research Committee, evaluating multiple criteria, from methodological merit to originality. All of the recipients have demonstrated outstanding and promising work, and we celebrate them for their accomplishments!
